Cinema Club

Cinema class lessons

If you have always wanted to practise your spoken English in a creative, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, if you really love good films and adore the English language – this project is simply made for you!

What do we do at our meetings?

  • We devote 4 hours to practising English in every possible way;
  • We watch films in English and always with English subtitles;
  • We learn useful expressions from the movies;
  • We discuss the issues & topics suggested by the material – naturally, we do it in English!
  • We play linguistic & fun games in English;
  • We enjoy tea and coffee with sweeties 🙂

How can our regular Saturday meetings help you improve your English?

  • You will be able to understand spoken English better;
  • You will be able to “guess” the meanings of new words in the context;
  • You will learn to use new expressions in your speech;
  • You will be able to discuss a wide range of topics in English more freely and easily!

We will be happy to see you at our meetings and to hear your honest opinions and fresh ideas!

Cinema class general plan includes the following:

  1. Greetings & introduction
  2. Information & curious facts about the movie, actors & director
  3. Vocabulary Work
  4. Watching the movie with subtitles
  5. Break for tea/coffee
  6. Discussion in pairs, mini-groups and all together
